Re/Connect is an international Christian ministry dedicated to helping you find your way back to God.
If you have walked away from church, you are not alone.
If the faith you grew up with began to feel more like a cage than a home, that makes sense.
If you were handed a version of God built on fear, control, and punishment - and it stopped working for you - that is not a crisis of faith. That is honesty.
You do not have to choose between thinking for yourself and believing in God.
You do not have to pretend the old answers still fit.
You do not have to go back to something that hurt you.
But you also do not have to keep wandering.
Re/Connect exists for people exactly like you — believers, doubters, and honest questioners who sense that there is something more. Something truer. Something kinder.

What Matters
What we believe
• That Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God - crucified and resurrected to give us freedom from sin and death, in every age past and yet to come.
• That God is a loving, compassionate and involved Father and Creator of all things - and that however we encounter Him, His nature never changes.
• That the Holy Spirit is active today, ready to guide and direct anyone who is open to Him.
• That fear, punitive judgement, and condemnation have no place in authentic faith - and should never be used to pressure or control people.
• That our eternal destiny extends far beyond the boundaries of our current life on earth.
• That there is a cosmic battle between good and evil, between love and fear - and that ultimately, love wins.
There are things about God, faith, life and eternity that none of us fully understand.
Probably none of us ever will - not in this life.
At Re/Connect we don't pretend otherwise.
We don't have all the answers, and we are not interested in fighting over the ones we don't have. Instead we choose to hold these open questions with curiosity and humility - acknowledging them honestly, sitting with them openly, and giving every person the freedom to think, question, and explore without fear of judgement.
Some things are certain. Many things are not.
Both are okay here.You may read what we believe and disagree with some (or all) of it. That is completely okay. Re/Connect is not interested in arguing, debating, or pressuring anyone into believing what we believe. We will not try to convince you, and we ask the same in return.
What we offer is a space of mutual respect - where different perspectives are acknowledged without conflict, and where no one is made to feel wrong for thinking differently.
The right people will find a home in what we believe and choose to journey with us. Others will move on, and we wish them well. Either way, you are welcome here.
And Finally
We have no interest in attacking or fighting with traditional religion. We do, however, expect to be criticised - and we are at peace with that.
We are unlikely to be invited to speak at many traditional churches, and we understand why. What Re/Connect offers threatens the system that keeps people compliant through fear and the threat of eternal condemnation.
We exist to offer an alternative. Not for everyone - but for those who desperately need one. For the people who know, deep down, that they can never go back to what they left behind. Re/Connect is a choice, freely made.
We will never pressure, manipulate, or force anyone.
That is not who we are.
